Supply the Teachers of Austin, TX

Supply the Teachers is a non-profit organization with a mission to put tools in the hands of struggling Texas educators.

Texas teachers often have to buy the supplies required to teach the Texas curriculum with their personal income. The burden of the cost is tough for our already underpaid educators. You can help ease the hardship by donating to Supply the Teachers.

Teachers are going out of pocket or asking parents by proxy to bring in supplies that the ISD can't supply. Supply the Teachers can help by providing:

"We help bridge the resource gaps for teachers in their efforts to provide a high-quality learning environment."

"Can you believe that 9 out of 10 teachers reported spending their own money on classroom supplies?"

That means that the personal income your children's teachers should be saving is going back into educating your child.

Past efforts by other organizations to help supply Texas teachers have fallen short of expectations. Supply the Teachers wants to change the negative outlook for our educators.

Our growing list of charitable sponsors is making sure that education in the wide open spaces of Texas stays at its peak.

"Supply the Teachers is exactly the kind of local effort the BNI Foundation's Business Voices movement was meant to inspire. We are so excited to see the "cause networking" happening in Austin as a result of this non-profit effort.

Together we can make a huge positive impact for our local educators in the classroom. We all win as a result, business - the community - the schools - and, most importantly, the kids."
